What is the Big Sky Classic Jump into Seasons Series?

Located in beautiful Bozeman, MT the Jump Into Seasons Series is a series of three hunter/jumper horseshows. The shows attract all levels of riders and draw equestrians from across Montana and surrounding states.

What type of riding takes place?

There are three primary divisions offered at these shows– Show Jumping, Hunters, and Equitation.

Show Jumping: Jumpers are judged solely on their ability to clear the obstacles in the fastest time.

Hunters: Hunters must have the ability to clear the obstacles in style. Hunters are judged on manners, jumping style, and their ability to keep an even pace.

Equitation: In the equitation the rider is judged not the horse. The rider must display an excellent mastery of controlling the horses pace, classic position, and efficient course execution.
